Busy as a bee

Last November, I was given an opportunity to volunteer in Doha Film Institute for Doha Tribeca Film Festival.

My friend Albert influenced me to volunteer. He shared his fun experience as a volunteer to this glamorous event. He has been with DTFF for 3 years.

I went online and submitted my CV (yes, you have to). Like any company, they screen the CVs to insure they get the best volunteers in town. And I was lucky enough to be chosen.

Advance Happy Halloween!

Last October 23, our company organized a Pre-Halloween Party for the staff. We had pumpkin carving and costume competition. We also had some balloon popping game, mummy making and powder blowing contest. It was a fun night.

My first hosting stint was in College and I thought that would be my first and last. 

Of course I host in my friends private event meaning kame kame lang. I am in my own element and I don't need to worry about how I dress, how I speak, I can goof around and tell funny jokes and I don't have to follow any sequence. Kumbaga, ako ang batas. lol...

So, last June, I posted this blog entry. I was thinking if I still want to join the talent competition. My group mate asked me to join our dance group. I was about to say yes when Ariel, Production & Stage Director, informed me that I was chosen to host the competition. O_o HUWATTT?!

God's Gift

We often neglect to count our blessings. Instead, we focus on the problems we encounter.

We forget to be thankful of God's gifts he generously provide everyday. Beautiful sunshine, warm breeze, fragrant flower and tall trees. We focus so much of the worldly things and issues we have and do not have.

It's been a while!!!

Just a quick update. I moved out of my old room and now I am staying in my new flat! Yey!!! I am still with my roomie, Maribel. But now we're flatmates. Another yey!!! By the way, I have the Master Bedroom... *evil laugh*
